If you need to cancel or change your booking, please contact us by phone. Your bikes will remain reserved until 30 minutes after your reserved collection time. After this, we reserve the right to cancel your booking.

1. Please be punctual when returning bicycles within business hours (returns by 18:00). Returns after 18:00 will risk being subject to a penalty charge.
2. Any damage, loss or theft of bicycles or accompanying accessories may be charged at cost to the customer.
3. KCTP cannot take any responsibility for any damage to or loss of customer belongings, including articles of clothing, during the use of rental bicycle.
4. Any damage caused by violation of Road Traffic Laws (e.g. cycling in prohibited areas, cycling in the wrong direction, cycling while intoxicated etc.) or due to user negligence (e.g. hitting a stationary car, colliding with property etc.) will not be covered by liability insurance.
5. Depending on the circumstances of an accident, personal accident insurance may be applicable.
6. For logistical reasons, your nominated drop-off cycle terminal cannot be changed after departure.
7. In case of an emergency requiring bicycle collection, a fee of 2,000 yen per bike will be charged (limited to within Kyoto City).
8. In case of multiple-day rentals, requests to cancel subsequent days are non-refundable.
9. The emergency support service (free delivery and replacement of bicycles in case of puncture or mechanical trouble) is provided only within Kyoto City and during standard business hours.
10. Customers must contact KCTP if a bicycle is seized by authorities due to illegal parking. If customers fail to report seizure to KCTP and the bicycle is abandoned customers will be charged for collection and release of the bicycle accordingly.
