Participation Requirements
1. General Requirements for All Participants
- All participants (including adults) must have adequate cycling ability, be comfortable cycling on public roads, and be able to ride a bicycle smoothly without training wheels (including starting, stopping, and maintaining balance).
2. Additional Requirements for Children For safety reasons, children participating in the tour must meet the following conditions:
- Aged 10 years or older
- Minimum height of 120cm (or 4ft)
- Able to ride a bicycle without assistance (including mounting and dismounting)
3. If Safety Requirements Are Not Met If the guide determines on the day of the tour that a participant (adult or child) does not meet the above safety requirements or cannot ride safely, they will not be allowed to join the cycling tour.
In such cases, KCTP reserves the right to change to a walking tour at the discretion of the tour guide. Please note that if a walking tour is rejected, the tour will be cancelled, and the cancellation fee will apply according to the cancellation policy (treated as a same-day cancellation, and no refunds will be issued). adequate cycling ability and be comfortable cycling on public roads.
Booking Process
- Please complete the form below to begin the booking process
- An automatic e-mail will be sent to your e-mail address. Please make sure that all the details of your booking are correct. Your booking is not yet confirmed at this point
- A follow up e-mail may be sent regarding tour availability
- An e-mail invoice will be sent to your e-mail address
- After completion of payment, a final confirmation e-mail will be sent including further details of the tour
Reservations can be made via the website up to two days in advance. For the following cases, please contact us by phone (+81-75-354-3636) or visit Kyoto Station Cycle Terminal:
- Bookings for the following day (bookings by phone are accepted until 15:00 the day before the tour)
- 13 or more participants
Due to New Years’ Holidays, reservations between 31 December and 2 January are not accepted. We apologies for any inconvenience caused.
